Most people don't remember the 1985 Achille Lauro hijacking - Mahmoud Abbas aka Abu Mazen was the mastermind‏

  1. Most people don't remember the Achille Lauro hijacking:http://www.specialoperations.com/Images_Folder/library2/achille.html
behind the Achille Lauro hijacking, and the murder of Leon Klinghoffer, when the Palestinian pirates threw him overboard in his wheelchair. Perhaps now that Obama and Hillary are fighting pirates on the open seas, they need to be reminded of the Achille Lauro hijacking, and that Mahmoud Abbas was the pirate-in-chief of the Arab Palestinian pirates who hijacked the cruise ship, and murdered Leon Klinghoffer in 1985…
Another myth that needs to be dispelled is that the Palestinian Authority and its leader Mahmoud Abbas is “moderate”. The Palestinian Authority teaches Palestinian children to become homicide bombers. Specifically they teach them, to Ask for death, the life will be given to you.
This eye-opening booklet illustrates how flagrantly, systematically and insidiously the Palestinian Authority teaches, Ask for death, the life will be given to you. Included you will find a blood-chilling video-on-CD which documents the indoctrination of innocent Palestinian children to become suicide bombers. They are brainwashed to believe that it is better to blow themselves up  and thereby go to Paradise  than to live a good and peaceful life on earth. You may want to share this important CD-video and booklet with elected officials and local newscasters.
  2. Mahmoud Abbas Denies Existence Of Jewish State

    April 28, 2009
America has invested a lot of diplomatic capital on the idea that Mahmoud Abbas, aka Abu Mazen, is a moderate leader who Israel can work with. Perhaps compared to the Hamas Jihadis this case can be made, but on its face it is a lie.
JERUSALEM  The Palestinian Authority president, Mahmoud Abbas, on Monday dismissed a demand by Israels prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, underscoring the considerable gaps between the sides.
I do not accept it, Mr. Abbas said in a speech in Ramallah, in the West Bank. It is not my job to give a description of the state. Name yourself the Hebrew Socialist Republic it is none of my business, he added, according to Reuters.
Mr. Netanyahu, who took office almost a month ago, has refused to endorse the notion of an independent Palestinian state alongside Israel as a solution for the conflict, as many nations urge. But he saysPalestinian recognition of Israel as the national state of the Jewish people is crucial for progress in any future talks.
The fact that there is a need for a Jewish state is a testament to a sickness in this world. We would prefer that there be no need for a Jewish state, but as long as Jews are subject to the genocidal whims of those around them, how can there be any other way? And how can anyone expect Israel to meaningfully work for peace with a partner who cannot bring himself to admit to the existence of the Jewish state?

      Achille Lauro hijacking ends

    2. The hijacking of the Italian cruise ship Achille Lauro reaches a dramatic climax when U.S. Navy F-14 fighters intercept an Egyptian airliner attempting to fly the Palestinian hijackers to freedom and force the jet to land at a NATO base in Sigonella, Sicily. American and Italian troops surrounded the plane, and the terrorists were taken into Italian custody.
On October 7, four heavily armed Palestinian terrorists hijacked theAchille Lauro in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Alexandria, Egypt. Some 320 crewmembers and 80 passengers, were taken hostage. Hundreds of other passengers had disembarked the cruise ship earlier that day to visit Cairo and tour the Egyptian pyramids. Identifying themselves as members of the Palestine Liberation Front--a Palestinian splinter group--the gunmen demanded the release of 50 Palestinian militants imprisoned in Israel. If their demands were not met, they threatened to blow up the ship and kill the 11 Americans on board. The next morning, they also threatened to kill the British passengers.
The Achille Lauro traveled to the Syrian port of Tartus, where the terrorists demanded negotiations on October 8. Syria refused to permit the ship to anchor in its waters, which prompted more threats from the hijackers. That afternoon, they shot and killed Leon Klinghoffer, a 69-year-old Jewish-American who was confined to a wheelchair as the result of a stroke. His body was then pushed overboard in the wheelchair.
Yasir Arafat's Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) condemned the hijacking, and PLO officials joined with Egyptian authorities in attempting to resolve the crisis. On the recommendation of the negotiators, the cruise ship traveled to Port Said. On October 9, the hijackers surrendered to Egyptian authorities and freed the hostages in exchange for a pledge of safe passage to an undisclosed destination.
The next day--October 10--the four hijackers boarded an EgyptAir Boeing 737 airliner, along with Mohammed Abbas, a member of the Palestine Liberation Front who had participated in the negotiations; a PLO official; and several Egyptians. The 737 took off from Cairo at 4:15 p.m. EST and headed for Tunisia. President Ronald Reagan gave his final order approving the plan to intercept the aircraft, and at 5:30 p.m. EST, F-14 Tomcat fighters located the airliner 80 miles south of Crete. Without announcing themselves, the F-14s trailed the airliner as it sought and was denied permission to land at Tunis. After a request to land at the Athens airport was likewise refused, the F-14s turned on their lights and flew wing-to-wing with the airliner. The aircraft was ordered to land at a NATO air base in Sicily, and the pilot complied, touching down at 6:45 p.m. The hijackers were arrested soon after. Abbas and the other Palestinian were released, prompting criticism from the United States, which wanted to investigate their possible involvement in the hijacking.
On July 10, 1986, an Italian court later convicted three of the terrorists and sentenced them to prison terms ranging from 15 to 30 years. Three others, including Mohammed Abbas, were convicted in absentia for masterminding the hijacking and sentenced to life in prison. They received harsher penalties because, unlike the hijackers, who the court found were acting for "patriotic motives," Abbas and the others conceived the hijacking as a "selfish political act" designed "to weaken the leadership of Yasir Arafat." The fourth hijacker was a minor who was tried and convicted separately.

  1. Mahmoud Abbas the convicted terrorist
Abu Mazen. Mahmoud Abbas (a.k.a. Abu Mazen). The leader of the Arab PA, was born in 1935. He was one of the founding members of the ‘Fattah’ and one of the senior-most members of the Arab/Palestinian front. Abbas is also the leader of the Arab Palestinian Authority. He is also the mastermind financier of the Munich Olympic massacre and the hijacking of the cruise ship Achille Lauro his men had killed the wheel chair bound Klinghoffer, they pushed him overboard. There is a criminal conviction against Mahmoud Abbas (a.k.a. Abu Mazen) with life in prison; he is an escaped convict with multiple murders. (There was also a reward for his capture by the German and U.S. authorities).
Mahmoud Abbas aka Abu Mazen has been a part of the Fattah leadership and has helped formulate and finance all of the terror tactics devised by this group and now exported to Islamic terror organizations around the world. These tactics include assassination, plane hijacking, car bombs, and homicide bombers, child soldiers used both in Lebanon and Israel, and hate education. Now, Israeli and Western movers and shakers have been inclined to sacrifice and overlook his 50-year terrorist track record on the altar of delusion and wishful thinking, which has sanctified Oslo and its offshoots (the Hebron and Wye Accords, the Road Map and the Disengagement Plan). A U.S. colloquialism states: “Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.” Abu Mazen aka Mahmoud Abbas and his colleagues have fooled Israel and the U.S. and others since 1993. Are Israel and the world going to be fooled once again? Mahmoud Abbas aka Abu Mazen declared at his U.N speech in the summer of 2015 that he will not abide by the Terms of the Oslo Accord; therefore, The Oslo Accord is null and void. Israel can now retake full control and sovereignty over Judea and Samaria aka The West Bank.
Abbas incites and promotes terror and violence; he supports suicide bombers and educates the children to hate and violence. Abbas and his people are also stealing hundreds of millions of dollars designated to help the impoverished Arab/Palestinian masses.
