Dear Friends,
In the contemporary era, warfare is no longer confined to opposing armies facing each other on the battlefield. In fact, in the particular case of the State of Israel, the struggle over truth and narrative carries the potential of inflicting lethal damage on the nation-state of the Jewish People.
After decades of trying to destroy Israel by force – in combat and, subsequently, through acts of terrorism against its civilian population – Israel's detractors have now resorted to casting doubts about its fundamental legitimacy as a member state within the international community. Sadly, the spurious arguments advanced by these delegitimizers have managed to gain some traction in the world, as the malicious work in partnership with the misinformed to disparage Israel and bring about its demise.
The State of Israel is resilient and will survive this assault, but such absurd aspersions must not go unanswered. There is nothing more legitimate than the Jewish People's right to its homeland in the Land of Israel. Its historical claims date back from Biblical times up until the present day – affirmed prominently by the 1920 San Remo Conference, by the League of Nations two years later and then again by the United Nations in 1947. These facts must be committed to memory and brought to the attention of all those who mistakenly question the Jewish People's return to its ancestral home.
The Jewish People's Rights to the Land of Israel comes to fill this knowledge void. Canadians for Israel's Legal Rights deserves to be commended for this welcome effort to educate the public about the Jewish People's indisputable rights in the State of Israel. This volume should be read and shared by all those who favor justice and peace in the Middle East.
With best wishes,
Moshe Ya'alon

JURIDICAL ASSESSMENT OF THE EDUCATIONAL MANUAL
“THE JEWISH PEOPLE’S RIGHTS TO THE LAND OF ISRAEL”
After having read and reviewed the entire contents of the educational primer, “The Jewish People’s Rights to the Land of Israel”, I am honored to certify the veracity of all the information it contains. It performs a very important mission in bringing to light the relevant historical and legal facts any beginner or true scholar of the Middle East needs to know regarding the exclusive national and political rights of the Jewish People and the State of Israel to the Land of Israel, formerly Mandated Palestine, under international law.
Mr. Benzimra’s work is well structured and organized, easily understood and incisive. Most important of all, it presents an accurate and comprehensive picture of all the significant events that took place, decisions taken and agreements concluded leading up to the establishment of the independent Jewish State of Israel in May 1948.
I earnestly hope that Mr. Benzimra’s work will serve as an invaluable resource and reach the largest audience possible in order to expose the truth of Israel’s ironclad case to the light of day and dispel all the lies and misinformation disseminated by Israel’s ubiquitous enemies.

Salomon Benzimra had done all friends of Israel a huge service by setting out, in an admirably concise, factual and unarguable way, the historical, moral and legal basis for Israel’s right to exist. This will be an invaluable book for everyone who, as the vicious and fundamentally unhistorical campaign to de-legitimize Israel gets ever more strident, seeks to tell the clear unvarnished truth.
Using nothing more than chronology, intellectual precision and a rigid commitment to the historical facts, this book completely undermines the arguments of the de-legitimizers. It is a stunning tour de force, and could not be more timely.
Whenever you next hear someone questioning Israel’s right to be an integral part of the comity of nations, reach for this book and quote them chapter and verse to prove them wrong. Canadians for Israel’s Legal Rights has struck a telling blow for truth with this fine book, which I hope will be read widely, by Jews and non-Jews alike.

At the historical occasion of the 90th anniversary of the signing of the San Remo resolution Mr. Salomon Benzimra gave an outstanding lecture about the legal rights of Israel. This new book will give all those who did not have the opportunity to listen to him in San Remo a chance to read and study his well-documented legal and historical arguments in order to better understand the solid foundation for the Jewish state in International Law.
Mr. Benzimra has done an invaluable contribution to the public debate by publishing this well researched book meant not only for the legal scholars but also for the broader public. In a time when the core existence of the Jewish state is put in to question this is book provides a solid defence.
