JERUSALEM BETRAYED
In JERUSALEM BETRAYED, a book written by Mike Evans, he documents the world-wide conspiracy against Jerusalem, God's Holy City. This letter draws heavily from Mike Evan's newsletter. So here is the full truth of how the betrayal of Jerusalem is unfolding before our eyes on a daily basis.
I. BETRAYAL # 1 The Worldwide Conspiracy against Israel.
SYRIA: Damascus, with the aid of Russian experts, has succeeded in making a particularly deadly form of nerve gas known as VX, according to Israeli Foreign Minister David Levy.
The Syrians are now, in the first stages of putting VX into war heads for its Scud missiles that can reach into Israel.
Syria also produces Sarin gas, although the VX gas is deadlier because it is absorbed through skin pores and is harder to disperse.
On the political front, a Syrian Foreign Ministry delegation recently flew to Malta to urge Arab nations to freeze ties to Israel. "The Syrian team will once again emphasize the need for all Arab parties to adhere to Arab League resolutions to freeze normalization with Israel, reject participation in the multi lateral talks and any project of cooperation with Israeli."
Isa:17:1: The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
RUSSIA: True to end time prophecies, it can be shown that Moscow is increasingly a strategic threat to Middle East stability.
They continue to provide massive aid to Iran's missile project. Teheran is developing a missile with a range of up to 1500 kilometers that can hit any part of Israeli. Just weeks ago, they held tests of this missile, which will be capable of carrying nuclear war heads. Moscow is ignoring its agreement with Netanyahu made in March! Both the Russian Foreign Ministry and the military lobby are united on selling weapons and nuclear technology to Iran!
Ezek:38:2: Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
Ezek:39:6: And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Ezek:39:11: And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog.
EGYPT: The Egyptian media continues its strong attacks against Israeli.
Mubarak fans the flames of tensions between the Palestinians and and Israeli, and is directly responsible for Arafat's unequivocally not ordering an end to terrorism activity against Israeli. Mubarak maintains that continued construction in Har Homa will lead to continued terrorism. More on this later.
BETRAYAL #2 The "Green Light" is on for uncontrolled rioting and bombings.
In just the last several weeks.........
* The terrorist wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad has escalated the sending of suicide bombers to attack Israeli targets! These "new" attacks are supposedly to avenge Israel's building of a new Jewish settlement in Jerusalem on a hilltop known as Har Homa. Attacks continued despite Netanyahu's guarantee that the first homes in a disputed Jerusalem neighborhood will not be built until 2000. Three days after the housing construction began, a Palestinian suicide bomber and three Israeli women at a Tel Aviv cafe.
* In Gaza City, hundreds of angry Palestinians demonstrated over a confiscation of a piece of land near the Kfar Yam Jewish settlement on the Gaza Strip beach town of Khan Younis. The Palestinians carried banners stating " Peace and settlements can never meet," and " We are ready to sacrifice ourselves for stopping settlements on our land."
This was the fifth protest held at the site in as many days.
Why? Because the buffer zones, hundreds of meters in which it is forbidden to hold demonstrations, have been completely erased in most areas. The Palestinians hold demonstrations in these buffer zones without sanctions!
* Two Israeli women were stabbed to death, their bodies were found in the West Bank by hikers in the Wadi Qelt nature reserve, about five kilometers (three miles for us non metric Americans) from Jericho.
* Weapons, ammunition, and a 10 kilogram explosive device, similar to one used to kill the three women in Tel Aviv, were found under the home of a terrorist in Kfar Tsurif.
* A molotov cocktail was thrown at Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem.
* Rocks penetrated the homes of two Jewish families in Hebron.
* A Kiryat Arba man was attacked while walking to prayers at the Machpela Cavet.
* Two fire bombs were thrown at a Border Guard jeep near Beit Hadassah.
One Israeli declared, "Our homes and playgrounds have become a battle ground [on] the front line."
* Several IDF soldiers suffered eye and face injuries when a chemical substance was thrown at them by Arab rioters.
WHY DOESN'T THE UNITED STATES IMPOSE SANCTIONS AGAINST THE TERRORISTS FOR THIS VIOLENCE?
A senior diplomatic source in Jerusalem says that high level officials in the United States admit that
" the intelligence information presented by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to President Clinton proves beyond a doubt that Arafat gave the "green light" for attacks against Israeli's!"
But, according to Arutz-7 correspondent Haggai Huberman, Clinton cannot publicly confirm the Israeli claims because he would then be legally obligated to cut off political and financial ties with Arafat.
PRAY THAT GOD GIVES PRESIDENT CLINTON THE COURAGE TO SANCTION THE TERRORISTS
U.S. Congressman Dan Burton (R-IN) has hinted that American support for the Palestinian Authority may be in danger in light of the recent terror acts against Israeli's. Mr Burton said, "President Clinton should be very strong in support of facing down terrorism...The only way there is going to be peace in the Middle East is for these acts of terrorism to stop."
BETRAYAL #3 The Palestinian Authority is not held accountable for their violations of the Oslo Accords, including....................
* Violation- Exceeding the overall limit on the number of Palestinian police.
According to Article IV(3) of Annex I of the Oslo Accords, the PA is permitted to deploy no more than 24,000 policemen in the West Bank and Gaza. Eventually an additional 6,000 policemen may be deployed. The PA currently has more than 30,000 policemen in the West Bank and Gaza, without Israeli consent.
* Violation- Failure to notify Israeli concerning Palestinian police recruits.
In violation of Annex I, article IV (4) of Oslo 2, the PA has consistently failed to provide comprehensive listings of potential recruits to Israeli and has proceeded to unilaterally recruit policemen without prior Israeli consent. AT LEAST 19 WANTED TERRORISTS ARE SERVING IN THE PALESTINIAN SECURITY FORCES or are in the process of joining its ranks.
* Violation- Exceeding the limit on the number of Palestinian police in Hebron.
The Hebron Protocol (par 5a) states that the Palestinians may have " a total of up to 400 policemen, equipped with 20 vehicles and armed with 200 pistols, and 100 rifles for the protection of the police stations."
Without Israeli consent, the PA has deployed over 1,500 policemen in Hebron, nearly four times the number permitted under the agreement.
* Violation- Failure to coordinate movement of Palestinian police.
Article V (6) of Annex I to Oslo 2 states that the movement of Palestinian policemen between Area A and Area B, or in Area C, must be coordinated in advance with Israeli security officials. However, in the first three months of 1997, there were over 100 instances of unauthorized police activity and movement outside of Area A.
* Violation- Detention of Israeli citizens.
According to Article XI (4d) of Annex I to the Oslo 2 Accord, "Israelis shall under no circumstances be apprehended or placed in custody or prison by Palestinian authorities." In 1996, over 100 Israeli citizens were arrested improperly by the Palestinian police.
* Violation- Failure to enforce restrictions on visitors' permits.
Under Article 28 (13b) of Annex III to Oslo 2 Accords, visitors to PA controlled areas are permitted to stay for a period of up to 3 months, and the PA may grant them an extension of an additional four months. Any further extensions require the approval of Israeli. The PA has unilaterally allowed some 31,000 individuals to remain in the territories beyond their permitted stay, and has refrained from taking measures to expel them.
* Violation- Unauthorized construction of Gaza Strip sea port.
Article XIV (4) of Annex 1 to the Oslo 2 Accord stipulates that all matters relating to the establishment of the Gaza Strip seaport "will be discussed and agreed upon between Israeli and the Council." Without prior notice, the PA proceeded with construction work on an old wharf in the Gaza Strip with the declared intention of transforming it into an active sea port. Only after Israeli barred the entry of the requisite construction materials did the work stop.
* Violation- Unauthorized construction of Dahaniy airport.
Article XIII (3) of Annex 1 to the Oslo 2 Accords states that the PA may establish provisional airstrips in the West Bank and Gaza. The PA ignored the Accord's requirement for mutually agreed upon modalities and proceeded to construct an airport at Dahaniy which can accommodate the largest aircraft in use.
* Violation- Failure to notify Israeli concerning passage of legislation.
The PA violated Article XVIII of Oslo 2 Accords which states that any legislation passed by the elected Palestinian council "shall be communicated to the Israeli side of the Legal Committee" so that Israeli may raise issues of concern should the legislation conflict with existing laws or the terms of the agreement.
* Violation- Circumventing mechanisms for resolution of disputes.
Article XXI of Oslo 2, entitled "Settlement of differences and Disputes," states, "Any difference relating to the application of this agreement shall be referred to the appropriate coordination and cooperation mechanism established under this Agreement." However, the PA has repeatedly sought to circumvent the mechanisms' when issues of dispute have arisen between the two sides.
Despite these extensive violations, the world continues to betray Jerusalem by not holding Arafat and his terrorist cronies accountable.
JERSALEM BETRAYED- IS THERE ANY SOLUTION?
The Jerusalem dilemma appears to have no solution.
The Israeli's say, "We will not have Jerusalem divided."
The Palestinians say, " We will settle for nothing less than having some official presence in Jerusalem, with it serving as the capital of our Palestinian state."
This dilemma is compounded because the deception of the world leaders is almost universal: The publicity machine of the Arab terrorists continues to perpetrate the lie that Jerusalem- unlike any other city in the world- can be the divided capital of two states!
The terrorists have deceived the world into thinking that they are forced to resort to terrorism because of Israel's building in Har Homa, or because of the opening of the tunnel.
THESE ARE FLAGRANT LIES FROM THE FATHER OF LIES!
Take the tunnel incident. The Hasmoneum Tunnel was dug a little over 2,000 years ago. The only thing Netanyahu did was to order the breaking down of a wall 20 centimeters wide at the end of it so the hundreds of thousands of visitors who go through the tunnel each year would not be forced to double back to the starting point, allowing for continuous movement.
Yet, world leaders were deceived and accepted the lie that Israeli was burrowing under the Temple Mount....A FULL QUARTER KILOMETER AWAY!
Anyone could determine the truth by just walking into that tunnel, yet for at least a week- and residually, now for several months- Israeli was declared in the wrong for opening a small wall that had been there for centuries!
Jerusalem was again betrayed in Har Homa. It is a fact, although the mainline media failed to report it, that under the Oslo agreement signed by Yitzhak Rabin, the Har Homa project is in accordance with Oslo. THE OSLO DOCUMENT DOES NOT PREVENT ISREAL FROM BUILDING ANYWHERE IN JERUSALEM!
No government of Israeli- as Rabin made clear many times in the Knesset- could ever accept a limitation on its right to build in Jerusalem- under Oslo or under anything else. Further, HAR HOMA IS NOT ARAB LAND! For 75 years it has been private Jewish land, since before World War II! How, in Heaven's name, can the mainline press still report it as Arab East Jerusalem?
PRAY THAT THE BETRAYAL OF JERUSALEM WILL CEASE
Ps:122:6: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
Clearly, it is God's will for Jerusalem to be the capital of the Jewish state of Israeli, and we must PRAY against every other plan! For the Jews, Jerusalem is God's Holy City, and there is no room for compromise!
YOU NEED TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT THE MIDDLE EAST!
In the last three months, here is what Israeli has done under the Oslo Accords.
* Israeli has re deployed in Hebron.
* Israeli has released the women terrorist prisoners.
* Israeli has transferred monies to the Palestinian Authority.
* Israeli has completed their first land withdrawal according to Oslo. This move was recognized by the United States State Department as a welcome and positive development.
* Israeli has permitted the first use of the Duhniah airport.
NOW LOOK AT WHAT HAS HAPPENED ON THE PALESTINIAN SIDE!
1. They HAVE NOT completed the revision of the Palestinian Charter, which they promised to do after Hebron.
2. They HAVE NOT honored their promise to keep 400 policemen in Hebron. They have close to 2,000.
3. They HAVE NOT honored their promise to collect illegal weapons. These weapons are used in demonstrations, held by Hamas and other terrorists.
4. They HAVE NOT incarcerated military terrorist operatives of Islamic Jihad, Hamas, and other terrorists groups. Instead, they release them from their jails.
5. They HAVE NOT discouraged inciteful pro da, but have given the 'green light' to the most inflammatory pro da in the official media of the Palestinian Authority.
IN SHORT- THE ISRAELIS' KEEP COMMITTMENTS, THE TERRORISTS VIOLATE THEM. CAN YOU SEE THE BETRAYAL?
Israeli, a country who fulfills the Oslo Accords, is accused of violating them! The Palestinian Authority, which violates the Accords, is credited with keeping them!
JERUSALEM, MAY 9, 1997(UPI) "A Palestinian land-dealer, suspected of having helped Jews buy Arab owned land in Jerusalem was killed and his body was found in the West Bank town of Ram allah. Last Friday the Palestinian cabinet announced tougher measures against land dealers involved in selling land to Jews. The Palestinian Legislative Council is considering capital punishment for such deals."
PRAY
Those of us, who are called by His name, must unite in prayer and claim that God's will be done in God's Holy City.
From our natural eyes, the situation seems hopeless!
From our spiritual eyes, God's end-time plan for Israeli will prevail.
PRAY THAT THE BLINDERS ON THE WORLD'S LEADERS, INCLUDING PRESIDENT CLINTON, WILL BE REMOVED.
PRAY THAT THE WORLD LEADERS WILL BEGIN TO HOLD ARAFAT ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE VIOLENCE.
PRAY THAT GOD WILL GIVE US GUIDENCE ON HOW TO COMFORT THE VICTIMS OF TERRORISM!
PRAY THAT GOD WILL USE YOU TO HELP TURN JERUSALEM FROM A CITY OF TEARS INTO A CITY OF JOY!
PRAY FOR GOD'S PLAN FOR JERUSALEM.
1: Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
2: O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
3: At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
4: And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpillar: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.
5: The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
6: And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.
7: Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
8: The highways lie waste, the way faring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
9: The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.
10: Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.
11: Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.
12: And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
13: Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.
14: The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
15: He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
16: He shall dwell on high: his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
17: Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
18: Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
19: Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.
20: Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
21: But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
22: For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.
23: Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
24: And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

Pal·es·tine: Often called "the Holy Land.". : A historical region of southwest Asia at the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea and roughly coextensive with modern Israel and the West Bank. Occupied since prehistoric times, it has been ruled by Hebrews, Egyptians, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, and Turks. A British League of Nations mandate oversaw the affairs of the area from 1920 until 1948, when Israel declared itself a separate state and the West Bank territory was occupied by Jordan. The West Bank was subsequently annexed (1950) by Jordan and occupied (1967) by Israel. In 1988 the Palestine Liberation Organization under Yasir Arafat declared its intention of forming an Arab state of Palestine, probably including the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and the Arab sector of Jerusalem. The Palestinians achieved limited self-rule in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in 1993 and 1994.

But the significance of the festival does not end here, but takes a wider scope, for whilst its origin and and institution in one sense are exhibited to us in Scripture, there is another and loftier circumstance connected with its observance, which concerns not Israelites alone, but all mankind, which does not limit itself to Palestinian agriculture and a successful reaping of the harvest, but essentially regards the everlasting weal of the whole human race.

Freeborn County Standard Albert Lea Minnesota 20 March 1890 AN IMPORTANT DISCOVERY
If, as is said, and we are not yet in a position to speak of it as more than a rumor, the new codex resembles the Sinaitic not only in additional books, that are appended to it- the Epistle of Barnabus and the Shepherd of Hermas- but also in the peculiarities of text, it would seem to be almost a duplicate of the Sinaitic, both forming, perhaps, part of an edition issued for the common use of the Palestinian church.

2. The Atlanta Constitution Atlanta Georgia 19 May, 1897 AMERICAN HEBREWS AND ZIONISM"We are Jews by religion; we are a race with a distinct religious mission. For the rest we are identified with the welfare, the greatness and progress of the people with whom we live, and we give the lie to those who say that in our heart of hearts we are PALESTINIANS."
In the first five examples, we have PALESTINIAN being used as an adjective, as the 1910 Webster and the 2000 American Heritage dictionaries define. And all five examples refer to either Christian or Jewish contexts.
But the last example clearly shows PALESTINIAN as being used as a noun. And it isn't as adescendant of the Arabs who inhabited Palestine.
