Israel seems to have sold Jerusalem to the Vatican.

An historic agreement has been drafted between Israel and the Vatican. The Israeli authorities have granted the Pope an official seat in the room where the Last Supper is believed to have taken place, on Mount Zion in Jerusalem, and where David and Solomon, Jewish kings of Judea, are considered by some researchers, to also be buried…The Vatican is also asking that Israel hand over to the Vatican’s control dozens of sites, 19 in Judea and Samaria and 28 in Jerusalem. The Catholic Church want to discuss some properties on Mount of Olives, Har Hazeitim, which is the very history of the Jewish people. If you want to keep Jerusalem united, you have to keep Har Hazeitim. The Vatican knows that.
The Vatican wants the Jews out of the Old City and apparently Israel’s government is agreeing with them. Turning the Cenacle into an active church is also a way of desecrating the holiness of the site known as the Tomb of David.

US mayor equates atheists with Nazis

THE American Civil Liberties Union in Michigan and two other groups havefiled a federal lawsuit seeking an injunction against a Michigan city’s ban on an atheist booth in a municipal building.
The groups said the Detroit suburb of Warren lets a church group run a “prayer station,” distribute religious materials, discuss religious beliefs and pray with visitors in a City Hall atrium but refuses to let atheist Douglas Marshall use the same space.
Americans United for Separation of Church and State and the Freedom from Religion Foundation also are part of the lawsuit in US District Court that says Marshall’s request in April to install a “reason station” was rejected by MayorJim Fouts (above).
Said Dan Korobkin, ACLU of Michigan deputy legal director:
Once the government opens public space for use by private groups, it cannot pick and choose who can use the space based on the content of their message or whether public officials agree with that message.
He added:
The city cannot allow speech supportive of religion and reject speech supportive of atheism.
Fouts told The Associated Press last Wednesday that Marshall’s “reason station” would be diametrically opposed to prayer.
The city has certain values that I don’t believe are in general agreement with having an atheist station, nor in general agreement with having a Nazi station or Ku Klux Klan station. I cannot accept or will not allow a group that is disparaging of another group to have a station here.
Just so you know, Mayor Fouts, 71 recently suffered a brain bleed when he fell down jogging. Whether this prompted his idiotic outburst is anyone’s guess.
